In its most monumental business move since birthing the catastrophic Arch Deluxe in 1996 (maybe it was the Comic Sans?), McDonald's announced that it will be adding barista-run coffee bars to most of it's 14,000 domestic locations. Sound kinda like the introduction of McCafes in the late 1990's? Sure does, except this time they'll be calling 'em McCafes!
Huh? Yup, weird. However, you will be able to purchase these caffeinated libations at the drive through this time. Mostly we are wondering if Mickey D's will assume Starbuck's Italian nomenclature or if they will stick with their standard English naming system. "Hey Grimace, can you super size that crappuccino for me please? Thanks."
